Celebrating Three Years of Collaboration: Erasmus+ Closure Event in Cairo

After nearly three years of intensive cooperation, partners from Egypt, Germany, and the Netherlands reunited in Cairo for the official Project Closure Event.

The Future VET Skills Closure Event in Cairo marked a significant milestone in an international partnership that began almost three years ago. Just as at the project’s kick-off, representatives from Egypt (Ghabbour Foundation and SIS Middle East), Germany (Bildungswerkstatt), and the Netherlands (Technova College) came together—this time to review outcomes, celebrate achievements, and set the stage for future collaboration. The partners from Germany and the Netherlands traveled to Cairo especially for this occasion, underscoring the importance and commitment behind this shared endeavor.

SIS Middle East took full responsibility for the organization and coordination of both the event and an accompanying cultural program. With meticulous planning, the team ensured a seamless experience for all attendees, creating a setting that fostered exchange, reflection, and forward-thinking dialogue.

The event brought together high-profile guests, including long-standing business partners as well as representatives of the German Embassy in Cairo. Their presence highlighted the significance of the project within the broader context of international education, partnership development, and youth empowerment.

A special highlight of the day was the participation of students who had been directly involved in the Project activities. They shared personal experiences, insights, and reflections, offering an authentic perspective on the project’s impact on their academic and personal growth. Their contributions enriched the event and demonstrated the tangible results of the initiative.

With inspiring speeches, meaningful conversations, and generous opportunities for networking, the Closure Event served as a fitting conclusion to a project that succeeded in bringing cultures together, strengthening institutional ties, and creating lasting opportunities for students and educators across three nations.
